30 Days of Biking

Here's a little challenge for you lot; now that the days are getting warmer and the clocks (in the UK anyway) will be changing again soon, spring is on it's way... finding an excuse not to take on this challenge is going to be tough!

So here's the idea: ride your bike - no matter how far - every day for 30 days straight, starting April 1st. It's a great concept from across 'the pond' and 2011 will be the second year it'll run. Here's where you can find more info and sign up!

How many bikes 'should' you own?!

Here's the answer, found on a blog I read this morning:

"I read somewhere that the right number of bikes to own is n+1. Where n = the number you have now. An alternate formula is s-1. Where s = the number where your spouse or partner initiates divorce proceedings."

Alfine 11-speed Proto Photo Shoot

Finally got the black prototype rebuilt with the Alfine 11-speed wheelset and Versa VRS-11 shifters... Colour scheme this time is decidedly Friesian; looks really good actually... more on flickr soon.

Unicorn Tears!

Or is that rocking-horse poo? Either way, it's been tough getting hold of these Shimano 11 speed parts... Now we can fit them to the prototype and try them out. If the system is half as good as they say I'll be stoked (or maybe I'm just easy to please!)
